UHMWPE, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, is linear structure of polyethylene with average molecular weight
of 2.5 million or more. With high molecular weight, it is excellent engineering thermoplastics with extraordinary performance and affordable price. Known as ‘amazing plastic’, it combines almost all straits of various plastics together and with advantages of
wear resistance, corrosion resistance, impact resistance, self lubrication, low friction loss, non scaling, low temperature resistance, health non-toxic, non-adhesive, non-absorbency, which makes UHMWPE prior to other engineering
plastics.

According to ISO8295 test method, friction coefficient of UHMWPE pipe is 0.05~0.11, while steel
pipe 0.58. That makes uhmw pe mining pipe is better in wear resistance than traditional steel pipe when used as slurry transport pipeline.

Due to UHMWPE wear resistance property and much higher flexibility, uhmwpe wear resistant pipe is ideal to be used at mining section for slurry transport as uhmwpe mining pipeline, which is widely used for transporting copper concentrate slurry, gold concentrate slurry , iron concentrate slurry and zinc concentrate slurry.

There are 24 production lines in Dragon workshop for UHMWPE products, diameters of UHMWPE pipes ranging from DN30 to ND1200, and with different wall thickness, UHMWPE wear resistant pipe still can be used when there are some working pressure the slurry transport pipeline need to hold.
