How to improve the coral pink?

Improving the reactivity of ferric oxide with Zr02 is the core of the synthesis process of coral pink.The key point of these techniques is: To pre-fire Zr02 and iron oxide at appropriate temperatures.Use the dry method to pregrind Zr02 and the iron oxide.Select the more active iron oxide.

DTA showed that the ingredients of zirconium iron red (coral pink) reacted at 300℃, 410℃, 570℃ and 700℃.Pre-fire Zr02 and ferric oxide at 570℃.Then it can get the improved coral pink by adding the SiO2 and mineralizer.

The improved zirconium coral pink material can also be obtained by mixing iron oxide and Zr02 by dry ball mill before preparing the color material.The method of premixing all the raw materials with ball mill does not have the above effect.

The red value (a) of the coral pink material made of yellow iron oxide (FeOOH) is higher than that made of red iron oxide (Fe2O3).The smaller the particle size of iron oxide (appropriate), the higher the red value (a) of the synthetic color.
