Abbyson Living is partnering with celebrity designer Monica Pedersen to launch the exclusive Monica Pedersen Furniture Collection by Abbyson Living at the Las Vegas Market in January.

Abbyson Living officials welcome designer Monica Pedersen, who will work with the company on its launch of its first exclusive licensed furniture line

Pedersen is best known for her work on HGTV's hit television series "Designed to Sell" and the HGTV Dream Home Giveaway. She is also the author of "Make It Beautiful," a book that inspires and teaches readers how to entertain at home with her exclusive insider tips. Her designs and tips also have been featured in national publications, and she'll be appearing on a new design show on network television in early spring.

"Monica's expertise in design, style and market trends combined with family values complements the Abbyson brand and we're happy to have her join our team."

The exclusive Monica Pedersen Furniture Collection by Abbyson Living will launch in Las Vegas with more than 25 SKUs. Pedersen will have her own space to showcase the line within the Abbyson Las Vegas showroom in World Market Center B-880.

Abbyson and Pedersen plan on designing more than 75 SKUs by mid-2014.

"I am so excited to launch my Monica Pedersen furniture collection with a company whose product and people I believe in," Pedersen said. "With this partnership, we are going to be introducing many new and trendy designs that will be inspired by elegance."

The initial launch will feature colorful new designs of living room collections, including sofas, accent chairs, ottomans, dining chairs and barstools, the company said. The next phase will include bedroom collections.

The licensing agreement is a new initiative for Abbyson Living and is the first of many more licensing deals, the company said.
